Visit The Great Gardens of Cornwall

Take a trip to St Ives on the train
Redruth train station is just a stone’s throw away from the Hotel, so why not head to the iconic seaside destination for the afternoon, grab a bite to eat with the abundance of restaurants and cafés along the seafront, and of course a Cornish ice cream or a pint of local ale afterwards! The journey from Redruth to St Ives which takes under an hour is worth every second of its picturesque views along the rugged Celtic coast.
National Trust Easter egg hunt at Glendurgan
Glendurgan is a National Trust garden near Falmouth and as the National Trust celebrates its 125th anniversary, the garden is throwing an Easter egg hunt from Saturday 28th March to 13th April 2020. Check out ‘Monster of the Deep’ at the Maritime museum
Legends, folklore and modern-day science present monsters of the deep – you decide what lies beneath… Opening Friday 20th March, just in time for the Easter holidays! The Maritime Museum in Falmouth plays host to an array of centuries-old myths and legends giving you the opportunity to learn how these stories continue to capture imaginations, fuelled by ‘fake news’ and conspiracy theories. Easter at Eden
With three weeks of fun and frolics for the whole family, the Eden Project truly comes alive in Easter, with a range of new indoor and outdoor games, business, chicks and interactive experiences including how to build a nest in the wildlife playground. If you or your children are looking for a relaxed session because of sensory or communication needs, Eden Project opens the site prior to the public and welcomes visitors who may benefit from the informal experience (including an Easter egg hunt too!) Take a stroll along the North Cliffs
There’s something special about the wind in your hair whilst embarking on a coastal walk along the rugged cliffs overlooking some of the worlds most impressive beaches. Park up at the North Cliffs entrance to Tehidy woods and head towards the fishing village of Portreath, bring a flask of our Sloane’s “posh hot chocolate” for the journey to enjoy whilst watching the waves as the sun sets over the North coast… You may even be lucky to spot some dolphins!
