Here at the Penventon, we adore dogs and we understand that your vision of a Cornish escape with your 4-legged friend at your side should become a reality and that’s why dogs stay free!
We were even chosen as one of the 5 best dog-friendly places to stay in the South West by Food magazine.
Dog-welcome rooms:
Our ground floor Superior Family Rooms offer the ideal hotel accommodation for guests with dogs. Enjoy plenty of space for up to two dogs, with an open patio with a small lawn area.
Each room includes a sitting area which provides a perfect space for a relaxing stay.
*please note you can only stay with your dog in one of our selected Superior rooms – Family, twin or double*
Doggy-dining:
The Arbour, Lounge and Copper Bar areas are perfectly suited to bring your dog with you while you dig into a delicious meal! Have your lunch on a sunny day on our outdoor patio or lounging in our garden.
Welcome Basket:
We provide dog welcome baskets for all of our resident dogs (please ensure we are aware you’re bringing a dog with you!).

On special occasions, we will include an extra indulgent treat, such as a doggy Easter egg!
Extras:
Dog blankets, towels, treats and water are available in our public areas.
We welcome your dogs, any size, breed and personality, however, we do have some rules:
-We love well-behaved dogs…dogs that love to snooze are even better!
– Please be respectful of our other residents.
– Dogs are not permitted in The Dining Galleries restaurant.
Important to note:
We do not allow you to leave your dog (or any pet!) in your car unattended whilst in our carpark. If we see this then we will first try to contact you, then if failing this, we will call the authorities and report you. Your pets’ safety is our priority.
